This section contains information on a range of events related to Demoptimism’s five focus areas: Democratic Crisis; Resisting Threats; Constitutional Repair; Renewing Participation; and Redesigning Democracy. The emphasis here is on events attended by Demoptimism Director Tom Daly since Demoptimism’s launch in June 2024, as well as events organised by partners or affiliates of Demoptimism. The aim is to give readers a sense of the wide range of live work being carried out in this space, and insights into emerging directions in academic and policy research.
